Operations. Trained and equipped combat-ready pararescue jumpers (PJ) and combat rescue officers (CRO) who provided combat rescue, humanitarian and civilian search and rescue, and medical assistance. Pararescue teams assault, secure, and dominate the rescue objective area using any available Department of Defense or allied, air, land, or sea asset. Provide constant alert for any type of complex search and rescue missions that may need their immediate response.
