361st INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE and RECONNAISSANCE GROUP (AFISRA)

Lineage.  Established as 11 Photographic Group, Mapping on 19 Nov 1943.  Activated on 1 Dec 1943.  Disbanded on 5 Oct 1944.  Reestablished, and redesignated: 361 Tactical Intelligence Group on 31 Jul 1985; 361 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group on 10 Oct 2008. Activated on 29 Oct 2008.

Assignments.   Army Air Forces, 1 Dec 1943; 311 Photographic Wing, Mapping and Charting, 5 Mar-5 Oct 1944.  Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Agency (later, Twenty-Fifth Air Force), 29 Oct 2008; 363 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Wing, 17 Feb 2015-.

Stations.   Reading AAFld, PA, 1 Dec 1943; MacDill Field, Fl, 7 Jan-5 Oct 1944.  Hulbert Field, FL, 29 Oct 2008-.

Operations. Provides direct threat warning and enhanced situational awareness to AFSOC aircrews, trains and equips both Direct Support Operators and Tactical Systems Operators who are qualified to fly as aircrew members onboard AFSOC aircraft and  is a tailored Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency group that directly supports Air Force Special Operations Command.
