This would involve the development, planning, execution, and assessment of targeting activities to synchronize both lethal and non-lethal effects to support the command’s mission in Europe and beyond. While specific internal organizational names can vary, it would be a cell or a similar entity within the operations (J3) or intelligence (J2) directorate, working to analyze targets and synchronize diverse capabilities like cyber, electronic warfare, and kinetic fires.

Responsibilities and functions.

Effects synchronization: It would work to synchronize various offensive capabilities (both lethal and non-lethal) to create desired effects on targets.

Mission support: The cell supports the overall mission of maintaining peace and security by providing targeting expertise to ensure forces are postured to effectively address regional challenges.

Collaboration: The cell would collaborate with components, the Joint Intelligence Center (JAC), and allies and partners to ensure a unified approach to targeting.
