AUSTRALIA CANADA UNITED KINGDOM REPROGRAMMING LABORATORY F-35 SURVIVABILITY TEAM

The Australia Canada United Kingdom Reprogramming Laboratory (ACURL) located at Eglin AFB, FL, is a shared data center for the Australian, Canadian and British for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Program.

The data center serves as the heart of the F-35’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities which enables the F-35 Lightening II to make sense of the world around it. The F-35 has a sophisticated suite of sensors, but without the mission data from this laboratory, it cannot make sense of all that information.

The DoD has contracted Lockheed Martin to provide incremental upgrades on the F-35 data center which is important to providing scalable enhancements to the three countries’ F-35 data collection.
