919th SPECIAL OPERATIONS SUPPORT SQUADRON
The 919th Special Operations Support Squadron assigned to 919th Special Operations Group, 919th Special Operations Wing stationed at Eglin AFB Field 3 (Duke Field), FL, provides worldwide direct support to unified and theater commands in response to Secretary of Defense taskings. Orchestrate current operations, operational planning, weapons & tactics, aircrew training, weather, mobility, airfield operations, intelligence, operational medicine, maritime and range support, and joint ground liaison functions. Responsible for supporting the needs of a formal training squadron and for deploying personnel and equipment to provide worldwide command staff support for employment of eight special operations flying squadrons and one foreign internal defense squadron, using AFSOC-unique aircraft.
