The 709th Technical Maintenance Squadron assigned to 709th Support Group stationed at Patrick AFB, FL, while Detachment 460 is stationed at Eielson AFB, AK, whose mission is to monitor and record natural and man-made seismic disturbances in the earth in conjunction with the Air Force Technical Applications Center’s nuclear treaty monitoring mission.
