Reconstituted and redesignated as 731 Munitions Support Squadron, and activated, on 1 Aug 1996. Inactivated on 20 Jun 2001. Redesignated as 731 Munitions Squadron on 17 Jul 2009. Operations. Provides ready and reliable munitions via road, rail, and sea in support of Combatant Command and NATO allies. The four flights within the unit are the commander’s support section, materiel, systems and production and the unit has its own aerospace ground equipment and vehicle maintenance facilities and accompanying personnel.
