The 69th Bomber Generation Squadron, formally known as the 69th Aircraft Maintenance Unit assigned to 5th Maintenance Group, 5th Bomb Wing stationed at Minot AFB, provides worldwide combat capability by planning and conducting all aspects of on-aircraft maintenance, launch and recovery of B-52 Stratofortress bomber aircraft in direct support of Joint Chiefs of Staff nuclear and conventional taskings and delivers maximum combat readiness while maintaining a deployable combat force capable of projecting B-52 global firepower at a moment’s notice, anytime and anywhere.
