Lineage. Constituted as 705 Training Squadron on 7 Jan 2004. Activated on 12 Mar 2004-.

Assignments. 505 Training (later, 505 Test and Training) Group, 12 Mar 2004-.

Stations. Hurlburt Field, FL, 12 Mar 2004-.

Operations. Serves as the focal point for advanced Air Operations Center (AOC) and Air Force Forces (AFFOR) education and command and control (C2) process improvement, train AOC and AFFOR staff members of Air Component headquarters, including joint and allied partners, provide introductory through advanced C2 training for Wing A-Staffs and Wing Operations Centers (WOC) delivering Agile Combat Employment (ACE) concepts.

C2 WARRIOR ADVANCED COURSE (C2WAC)

C2 Warrior Advanced Course (C2WAC): C2WAC is the USAF’s premier operational level C2 course designed to advance the operational level planning expertise of experienced Air Component (AFFOR & AOC) planners board selected to become designated Operational Warfare Planners. Upon graduation from C2WAC these experts are poised to lead operational planning teams and groups (OPTs, OPG, APGs) and trained on the effective integration across warfighting domains to provide operational advantage to the Commander of Air Force Forces (COMAFFOR), Joint Force Air Component Commander (JFACC), and Joint Force Commander (JFC).  This is an advanced course, taught at the integrated joint special technical operations (I-JSTO) level, which targets mid-level leaders (officers, noncommissioned officers, and civilians) of air component headquarters and culminates with the awarding of the A-prefix to Officer AFSCs and the M-prefix to enlisted AFSCs.
