44^th MAINTENANCE SQUADRON

The 44^th Maintenance Squadron assigned to the 44^th Fighter Group, 301^st Fighter Wing stationed at Tyndall AFB, FL supports two airframes, the 325^th FW F-22A Raptor and the 33^d Fighter Wing F-35A Lightning II aircraft.

The 301^st FW will receive AFRC’s first ever F-35A mission and is transitioning from the F-16 Fighting Falcon to the F-35 aircraft. As a geographically separated unit of the 301^st FW, the 44^th FG will also transition from the F-22 to the F-35 and has been already supporting the 33^d FW’s F-35 mission.
