Lineage. Constituted as 421 Fighter Generation Squadron on 28 Jun 2021. Activated on 8 Jul 2021.
Assignments. 388 Maintenance Group, 8 Jul 2021-.
Stations. Hill AFB, UT, 8 Jul 2021-.
Operations. Provides fully qualified crew chiefs which maintain the readiness of F-35 Lightning II aircraft supporting Hill’s mission and manages scheduled maintenance actions and sortie production operations to support the annual flying hour program. The squadron also participates in major command, joint service and multinational exercises and contingencies.
