Lineage. Established as 35 Maintenance and Supply Group on 10 Aug 1948. Activated on 18 Aug 1948. Inactivated on 1 Oct 1957. Disestablished on 27 Sep 1984. Reestablished, and redesignated as 35 Logistics Group on 23 Sep 1994. Activated on 1 Oct 1994. Redesignated as 35 Maintenance Group on 4 Sep 2002.

Operations. Supports the “Wild Weasel” mission, suppressing enemy air defenses by ensuring the readiness of two F-16CM Fighting Falcon fighter squadrons (44 aircraft), engines, and munitions.
