Operations. Aerial transportation in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) during World War II. Trained in the Reserve for troop carrier operations, 1949-1951, and for fighter-bomber missions, 1952-1957. Returned to Reserve troop carrier operations in 1957. Active duty during Cuban Missile Crisis, Oct-Nov 1962. Since 1968, has trained for and flown strategic airlift missions, including special assignment, channel, and humanitarian airlift missions.

Campaign Streamers. Southwest Asia: Defense of Saudi Arabia; Liberation and Defense of Kuwait.
