311^th AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE UNIT

The 311^th Aircraft Maintenance Unit assigned to 49^th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 49^th Maintenance Group directs all production efforts of maintenance personnel assigned to the F-16C/D aircraft and equipment. They analyze maintenance performance indicators to identify adverse trends and recommend corrective actions to 49^th Operations Group leadership. They coordinate with the 311^th Fighter Squadron to maximize pilot training, maintain aircraft fleet health, and execute an annual flying hour program. The 311^th AMU oversees all training of assigned personnel to support peacetime and contingency operations at Holloman AFB, NM.
