Lineage. Constituted as 30 Communications Squadron, Air Force, on 8 Oct 1946. Activated on 17 Oct 1946. Redesignated as 30 Communications Squadron, Command, on 8 Nov 1954. Inactivated on 1 Oct 1970. Disbanded on 15 Jun 1983. Reconstituted, and redesignated as 30 Communications Squadron on 1 Nov 1991. Activated on 19 Nov 1991. Redesignated as 30 Space Communications Squadron on 1 Oct 2002.
