22nd MAINTENANCE SQUADRON (AMC)
The 22d Aircraft Maintenance Squadron assigned to 22d Maintenance Group, 22d Air Refueling Wing stationed at McConnell AFB, KS, provides aircraft maintenance specialists for the KC-135s and is responsible for the flightline maintenance required to launch and recover sorties supporting air refueling operations, both at home and at deployed locations around the globe including isochronal inspections, aircraft systems component repair and inspections, aircraft systems component repair and refurbishment, manufacturing and machining of aircraft parts, corrosions control, painting of aircraft and parts, non-destructive inspections and delivery and maintenance of aerospace ground support equipment.
