217^th AIR OPERATIONS GROUP

The 217^th Air Operations Group assigned to 110^th Wing stationed at Battle Creek ANGB, MI, is a unique organizational structure that supports the 17^th Air Force (AFAFRICA) and does not have a stand-alone role, instead are an integral part of 17^th AF and provides essential assistance for mission support.

The 217^th AOG components are: 217^th Air Communications Squadron, 217^th Air Component Operations Squadron, 217^th Air Intelligence Squadron & 217^th Combat Operations Squadron. Typical missions include: training and coordination exercises with African partners, humanitarian assistance, engaging senior leaders, and providing logistical support for overseas contingency operations.
