Redesignated: 167th Fighter-Bomber Squadron on 10 Oct 1950; Fighter-Interceptor Squadron on 10 Jul 1952; 167th Tactical Fighter Squadron on 10 Nov 1958; 167th Aeromedical Transport Squadron (Light) on 1 Apr 1961; 167th Air Transportation Squadron (Heavy) on 18 Jan 1964; 167th Military Airlift Squadron on 1 Jan 1966; 167th Aeromedical Airlift Squadron on 1 Aug 1968; 167th Tactical Airlift Squadron on 3 Jun 1972; 167th Airlift Squadron on 15 Mar 1992-.
