166^th OPERATIONS SUPPORT SQUADRON

The 166^th Operations Support Squadron of the 166^th Operations Group, 166^th Airlift Wing stationed at New Castle ANGB, DE, is responsible for C-130 Hercules combat effectiveness. The squadron directs flight operations, war plans, aircrew/aircraft scheduling, combat tactics, aircrew training, cargo delivery, deployment planning and execution, simulator training, mobility processing, maintenance analysis and aircrew flight equipment functions. The 166^th OSS coordinates with the host wing for airfield management, weather support and air traffic control.
