The 142nd Medical Group assigned to 142nd Fighter Wing, Oregon ANG stationed at Portland ANGB, OR, provides medical support (to include a trained medical team embedded within the search and extraction team) to the Oregon National Guard’s CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package.
The Chemical, Bilogical, Radiological, Nuclear, and high-yield Explosive Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) Medical Operations Officer serves as the lead unit planner for medical training, exercises and operations, taking input and requirements for section leaders to assist in managing the CERFP Annual Training Plan, CERFP medical plans and response operations, unit medical readiness reporting and training, budget and logistics oversight.

They are part of the search and extraction team for the CBRNE Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP), which is trained to respond to large-scale disasters in the Pacific Northwest region.
