The 117th Civil Engineer Squadron, assigned to 117th Mission Support Group, 117th Air Refueling Wing stationed at Sumpter Smith ANGB, AL, is responsible for base facilities, power plant, water plant, waste disposal and other municipal services, environmental and natural resources programs, bombing range operation and maintenance, maintaining unit readiness for contingency taskings, supporting disaster preparedness programs and Explosive and Munitions disposal.
