100th OPERATIONS SUPPORT SQUADRON (USAFE)

Lineage. Constituted as 100 Airdrome Squadron on 1 Apr 1943. Activated on 5 Apr 1943. Inactivated on 25 Dec 1945. Disbanded on 8 Oct 1948. Reconstituted, redesignated as 100 Operations Support Squadron, and activated, on 1 Feb 1992.

Assignments. Second Air Force, 5 Apr 1943; Eighth Air Force Base Air Depot Area (later, Base Air Depot Area, Air Service Command), 25 Aug 1943-Dec 1945. 100 Operations Group, 1 Feb 1992-.

Stations. Dalhart AAF, TX, 5 Apr-13 Aug 1943; Warton, England, 25 Aug 1943; Burtonwood, England, 6 Sep 1945; Baverstock, England, 11 Oct-13 Dec 1945; Camp Patrick Henry, VA, 24-25 Dec 1945. RAF Mildenhall, England, 1 Feb 1992-.

Operations. Provides full-spectrum, critical operational support to include mission planning, flight scheduling, intelligence, combat crew communications, survival training, weather, airfield operations, air traffic control, life support supervision, flight records management, and flight data analysis.
