Electronic Attack Squadron 144 (VAQ-144), “Main Battery”, attached to Commander, Electronic Attack Wing, US Pacific Fleet (COMVAQWINGPAC) until the achievement of Safe For Flight, at which point, the command will begin completing operational requirements attached to Carrier Air Wing ONE (CVW-1) based at NAS Whidbey Island, WA, operating the EA-18G Growler providing worldwide tactical airborne electronic attack and suppression of enemy air defense against targets at sea or ashore in support of U.S. and coalition combat forces.
