Lineage. Constituted as 82 Tactical Control Flight on 24 Jun 1969. Activated on 25 Jun 1969. Inactivated on 31 Mar 1988. Redesignated as 82 Expeditionary Air Support Operations Squadron, and converted to provisional status, on 12 Feb 2009.
