Operations. Combat in European Theater of Operations (ETO), 6 Sep 1943-25 Apr 1945. Trained crewmen, tested, and evaluated Atlas missiles, 1958-1966. Tested Minuteman III and Peacekeeper missiles, 1991-1994. Transferred to the Space Warfare Center in 1999 and was composed of two divisions and nine flights. These flights handled ICBM test activities, missile system improvements, launch operations, tactics, missile generation, logistics, and munitions. The squadron has the sole responsibility for collecting, analyzing and reporting the data required to verify the accuracy and reliability of deployed ICBMs.
