371st SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMBAT TRAINING SQUADRON (AFSOC)

Lineage.  Organized as 3751 Field Training Squadron on 15 Jun 1959.  Redesignated as: 371 Field Training Squadron on 15 Sep 1992; 371 Training Squadron on 23 Mar 1994.  Inactivated on 27 Oct 1994.  Redesignated as 371 Special Operations Combat Training Squadron on 16 Jul 2010.  Activated on 13 Aug 2010.

Operations. The mission of the 371st SOCTS is to conduct specialized training for combat readiness. SA Tech provides friendly ground forces/mission rehearsal training (MRT) and opposing forces (OPFOR) support for the 19 SOS in executing initial and Continuation Training for AFSOC aircrew training as well as providing Landing Zone Controllers to support tactical landings for a variety of aircraft.
