1st SPECIAL OPERATIONS AIR OPERATIONS SQUADRON (AFSOC)
The 1st Special Operations Air Operations Squadron assigned to 1st Special Operations Wing stationed at Hurlburt Field, FL, integrates 1st SOW assets into special operations forces training events, supports United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)-directed missions and executes tactical level command and control (C2) of all continental United States and deploying 1st SOW aircraft until transfered to supported organizations, agencies, or commands, in order to provide the 1st SOW commander unparalleled situational awareness; information for decisive action; and the ability to project Air Force Special Operations forces globally.
