Lineage. Constituted as 957 Signal Radio Intelligence Company, Aviation, on 23 Jul 1942. Activated on 15 Oct 1942. Redesignated as 7 Radio Squadron, Mobile (J), on 19 Feb 1944. Inactivated on 25 Dec 1945. Redesignated: 7 Radio Squadron, Mobile, on 14 Nov 1946; 302 Radio Squadron, Mobile, and allotted to the Organized Reserve on 29 Mar 1948. Activated on 12 Apr 1948. Inactivated on 22 Jun 1949. Redesignated as 7 Radio Squadron, Mobile, on 2 Nov 1949. Disbanded on 15 Jun 1983. Reconstituted, and redesignated as 7 Intelligence Squadron on 20 Mar 2009. Activated on 15 Apr 2009.
