451st EXPEDITIONARY OPERATIONS GROUP (ACC)
Lineage. Established as 451 Expeditionary Operations Group, and converted to provisional status, on 26 Jun 2009. Activated on 2 July 2009-.
Assignments. Air Combat Command to activate or inactivate at any time on or after 26 Jun 2009. Activated on 2 July 2009-.
Stations. Kandahar AB, Afghanistan, 2 July 2009-.
Operations. Responsible for conducting flying and aeromedical evacuation operations for the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing. Oversees day-to-day operations of an F-16 fighter squadron, a C-130J airlift squadron, an airborne datalink capability, remotely piloted aircraft squadron, Control Reporting Center and a range of support functions such as life support, intelligence, and weather.
