27^th AIR OPERATIONS SQUADRON

The 27^th Air Operations Squadron assigned to 27th Special Operations Group, 27^th Special Operations Wing stationed at Cannon AFB, NM, provides integration od 27^th SOW assets into special operations forces training events, supports United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM)-directed missions and executes tactical level command and control (C2) of all continental United States and deploying 27^th SOW aircraft until transfered to supported organizations, agencies, or commands, in order to provide the 27^th SOW commander unparalleled situational awareness; information for decisive action; and the ability to project Air Force Special Operations forces globally.
