Called to active duty for the Berlin Crisis on 1 Oct 1961-9 Aug 1962. Called to active duty for the USS Pueblo Crisis and deployed to Kunsan AB, South Korea, 1968-1969. In 1977, began a NATO commitment to USAFE, began deployments to West German and English bases exercising with NATO and USAFE units in a series of exercises. In 1992, began flying world wide air refueling missions.
